About Anecdote

Anecdote is an independent publication devoted to fine art, culture and their expanded forms. Conceived as a living, breathing organism, Anecdote moves with time - never fixed, always becoming.

We exist as a non-hierarchical space for artists and makers, with a shared aim to immortalise their process and their work without the traditional weight of critique, going against the grain of contemporary art institutions and podiums. Our curatorial practice leans into liminality, remaining open and responsive to the blurred, the complex, and the still-forming.

Founded by Megan Robinson and Namrata Zala, this platform serves as a living index of cultural production, bridging the gap between passive observation and active participation in the art world.
